Eleventh World Free Zone Convention
The Eleventh World Free Zone Conventionwill be held in Shanghai, China between the 8th and the 11th November this year. The local co-organisers are the Shanghai Free Trade Zones Administration, a newly formed management team with responsibility for three major port/zones.
Topics will cover Innovation in Zones and both Inward and Outward Investment. 250 - 300 participants are expected - half from other countries; the balance from the major Chinese zones. The presence of the World Bank, IMF, WCO and other major institutions points to an increasing awareness of zones' value for developing economies. A site visit is included.
